World Kite Museum & Hall-Fame

I was not able to visit the museum, but the kite shop was amazing with the sweetest two ladies that I met! They showered me with a lot of pro tips and useful information about long beach :) Such a lovely variety of kites to choose from! Bought a kite- great quality! Will visit the museum on my next trip to Long Beach, and the shop too!

Unfortunately the museum was closed, but nice ladies in the gift shop helped us pick up a couple of kites and a whirletgig. Well be back to check out the rest some day.

Was surprised to find historic kites from WWII here. The barrage kite was especially impressive. Goes to show you never know what you will find until you make the venture.

A fun and educational trip... small museums like this are a national treasure! The staff was gracious and helpful! Merchandise is affordable and of good quality
