I went to this school from 1970 to 1973... I LOVE this school. Im sure it has changed over the last 40 years, but I still have good memories of the playground, being introduced to classical music after recess. I still listen to it and it takes me back to that earlier time.nI moved with my family in 1973, but still remember walking to school at the ripe ole age of 10. That was back when you could, I guess....

The reason I gave 3 stars is because when it comes to enforcing the parking rules the ball is dropped there. The teaching faculty seem to be physically present but when it comes to mentally being patient with the child is iffy, especially if the child has a hard time expressing their thoughts. When my child would be overjoyed to learn and would jump out my vehicle with a smile. But when I would pick him up he would be frowning or had a sad face. He was just diagnosed with being A.D.H.D, the teacher was quick to send my child to the Principal's office. As I am an single parent and full time college student, receiving phone calls from the school because of my childs behavior was distracting for me. So if you have the patience for the horrific parking issue and being called for everything that your child does in a negative light then go right ahead and have them attend Turner Elementary.

Went there for my first 4 years of school and it was unforgettable. I love this school

Turner is a good school , nice teachers, nice principal and nice staff including the janitor who is a very respectful person.
