Local ace in El Sobrante. Good service. I got help immediately and was out of the store in less then 5 minutes. Short on some items.
Great local hardware store. Really helpful staff... its my first go-to hardware store before going to a big box store.
During the pandemic, I'm definitely spending my dollars with local businesses and Oliver's does me right every time. Knowledgeable, helpful staff. Patching a fence? Ask if they can cut a board for you. Lots of merch including paint and so convenient in downtown El Sobrante. Keep small businesses going! Check out Oliver's Ace Hardware.
Visited July 2, and saw one person not wearing a mask at all, and three employees who couldn't be bothered to pull them above the mouth.nnThis wasn't the first time in the past three months that I've seen this attitude. I have tenants who I am responsible to for safety, and I expect everyone to be on the same page at this point. My money when possible supports responsible businesses.nnToo bad for this store, I have properties to improve and maintain, and they won't be getting any more of my money. I support my community businesses. If they won't support their community by wearing masks, then they've made clear that they don't want my business.
