Shelton City Police Department

Something needs to be done about the druggies in this town and all the crazy people just walking the streets. Right next to the church on 1st right by the school is a big time drug house. Is there nothing that can be done about this . I swear I went to play with my son at the church and there was needles all over in the back. And just now I'm on my way to work there was a man with his pants down to his knees holding half a two by fore shaking. Kids are about to start getting off to school. Hope no one gets hurt. Again something needs to be done it's a small town get theses people outta here..

You guys are public servants, designed to do one thing, serve the public...you guys need to figure out another system for calling and getting general information, when someone doesnt want to report something. Yall cant hire literally one person with tax payer funds, to answer a phone, so that tax payers of Mason county, dont have to be rushed off the phone, instead of getting accurate information?? We shouldnt have to talk to a 911 dispatcher when calling into the non-emergency line....whats even the point of having a non-emergency number, if it ends up with a 911 dispatcher anyways?? You guys need to hire one more person to ONLY take tax payer non-emergency calls. Its not that hard to fix this.

We've lived in town for a number of years now and have always had positive interactions with the Shelton Police Department.

Very poor we call them almost every weekend for drunk gautamalins,being loud,driving drunk, peeing in the street. Not one has been arrested or anything! If that was me doing that stuff I b locked up no questions asked it a joke. Did not even bother to talk to us nothing, but they could ask them how much you had to drink, I personally know the one is the 14-16 years old. He rides the bus with my kids yet you don't bother to card him nothing,,but yet again if it was one of my kids they be arrested! It OK to be gotten out of bed tonight for glass breaking and nothing done. Not even disturbing the peace!
