Great glimpse if local history
A treasure of history related to the logging industry and mason county. The resourcefulness of the early loggers is intriguing .nOne example was how they utilized the large stumps. Carving out a small home with the uniqueness of their personality.nThe library of photographs can keep you captivated for hours. So on a rainy day you can find it can be a shelter to learn about the ways people lived here in a wonderful rain forest.
Fun place. Lots to look at in a sm place. Lots of info about shelton. And the surrounding area.
Very interesting displays and items of local significance. In addition, the staff is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, with access to a considerable amount of archived historical material.
