Always super helpful, friendly, and clean. Great people. Prices or pretty high. If you get their coupons in the mail it makes it more reasonable.
I just want to point out first and foremost that I love Ace hardware and I love their stores. What they stand for seems to be good principles and family and making sure you get what you need with good customer service. Unfortunately the past few times I've come to the Ace hardware here in Gridley California the female cashiers were very unfriendly and borderline rude. It was really hard for me to give this review two stars because again I love Ace hardware but unfortunately when you hire people that interact with a customer in a rude way when the customer is paying for the items with their hard earned money during a pandemic. (Money that's keeping those cashiers employed). It makes you wonder if they really understand just how lucky they are to have a job right now. I just left Ace hardware in Gridley and I can honestly say that I won't be as inclined to go back soon as I normally would for the items I need for my projects.
I prefer to shop locally whenever I can. Good stock and helpful service.
Great help here! I was constructing a chair contraption I dreamed up for my 81 year old grandpa who is immobile and begining to have trouble holding himself up while eating at his bed side. Norbert/gary (horrible with names so not for sure) helped me find the pieces and parts I might be able to use. He was so kind and let me sketch my concepts so he could visualize my idea and then helped me choose my stuff. I built the thing now just need to refine the design but it works for my needs. I'd post a pic but grandpa is always in his underwear so I spare you ud83dude09
Do not buy anything electrical here. All of their lamps are miss categorize. Their prices at the machine do not reflect with what is on the shelf. Cashier horrible customer service. I will never come here again. Cashier had her mask off.
