As a former student, I loved this school...from K-3rd grade. When I was enrolled in this school, I thought I fit right in. They accepted me. I grew up with amazing teachers although whenever there was a bully they would not do anything. Once I got to 4th grade I definitely was bullied more. People in my classes bullied and didn’t like me AT ALL. And when I reported it and how I felt they didn’t do anything for me. I felt so insulted and so unheard. When I got to middle school, I got bullied everyday. Getting cut and getting my head smashed in trees so hard I felt like I was going to black out. While the teachers were “monitoring” the outside area for kids, which is open to the public and has strangers walking right next to students. As I went through this until the end of 7th grade I felt completely unsafe. When I felt as if I needed some mental support from someone who I THOUGHT I could trust I went to the school “counselor” who was a students mom. When I went there, all I learned was to sit back in my chair and keep the burning coming. I have another class mate who had a different situation: “my friend and I had a little argument about who had to pull up a chair to another lunch table for ASSIGNED seats. I was sent to the counselor with my friend not letting me get a recess break outside, so I sat in a chair with my friend 3 days a week to talk about my “friendship problems.” It was the worst 3 days a week of my entire life. There have been many instances where these people would make me cry in the bathroom and scream and feel unsafe but they say me down and belittled me and talked to me to calm down as if I were a toddler. Those meeting which were definitely shared with the teachers, were some of the most traumatizing moments of my life.”nMy friends and I and probably everyone in the school laughed if you were sent to “Heathers”. Some teachers would tell you your score in front of your school. One of my friends signed a form saying they could not photograph their child yet they find many photos of them on their YouTube videos, Facebook posts, website, etc. they feel exposed and this is an illegal matter which of serious enough couldn’t turn into a lawsuit. A teacher even “diagnosed” my friends sister as Dyslexic just because they were struggling in their class. This school was toxic. And remember those people who bullied me. I was in the same class with them from K-7th grade. The teachers are the same. And they judge you with how you did the previous year. I felt this school was the most unsafe place on earth. The music teacher who was amazingly religious seemed to push his religion amongst the students by making them sing songs that were about Christmas. He would mention many things from the Bible. The art teacher was tremendous. I have to say the history teacher in the Middle school program Sue Bayer was the only person I felt safe by. This school over all was great until 3rd grade. A message for valley Montessori, stick with K-3rd grade. And don’t get me started on their zoom meetings during this pandemic. I hope people read this review and take their children out before they feel unsafe and fall into depression.nSincerely former student, Alex Fernandes
Great teachers and very supportive environment
Fantastic school. Cannot recommend it enough. Our son (6) and daughter (3) go here and they love it. Staff is phenomenal.
Super ud83cudfeb school! Love the teachers - so committed to excellence! Children seem to thrive in this environment!
I have a 2-year old there for a year and Michelle and Lisa are great. The facility is amazing. The students there are treated with love and are excited to learn.
