Country Cousin Restaurant

The food was great!!nnHowever the waitress NEVER came back to the table, we had to flag down 3 different people to get my husbands drink refilled..nnWe never got our appetizers..nnNOT once did ANY of the waitresses ask if we needed anything...nWe heard them at the neighboring tables asking if people needed refills and condiments..nnThen we had to flag down a bus boy finally and he refilled our drinks, and we had to grab that same bus boy to get our check..nnHe is the one that got the tip...

Best fries ever and the burger could be excellent with less salt!!! It's edible but strong! Wonderful service, friendly and efficient. Highly recommend! It smells and feels like home! There is a fun gift shop that has reasonable prices. I'd give 5 stars if it wasn't for the salt.

Great place., the staf was friendly and attentive to our needs.nIt was one of the best omelets I've eaten in a very long time. More filling than egg.The hashbrowns were meaty. Close to fried potatoes. Just like home cooking. English muffin was golden not burnt. A pet peve of mine. My girlfriend went nuts over the apple butter. Bought a jar to go.nThey only get a 4 star from me do to the gravy choises and flavor profile. Not so good.nBut that being said I do look forward to our next visit there. You should go and check it out for your self.

Craving chicken fried steak I decided to take a short trip here. The restaurant was quite busy for a late Sunday morning, I ended up sitting on the bar side. No lack of service or experience. Placed my order, and expected a 10-15 minute wait for my food. No more than 10 minutes had passed before a plate was being set down in front of me. Before me sat a hot, crispy golden chicken fried steak, smothered in a thick country gravy. The breading was thick enough to offer a light crunch when eating, and fried to perfection as to not get soggy. Cutting through it with a fork to savor each and every bite. Highly recommend this restaurant and meal for anyone.

This restaurant is a lovely slice of Americana. Outstanding traditional breakfast fresh off the griddle. Generous portions! Get there early, it's extremely popular. There is a cocktail lounge in the back and a nice little gift shop. Really love the Bacon Bloody Marys! Delish!nOutstanding customer service as well.
