We have had two kids attend EB for several years and we couldn't be happier. The quality of the teaching staff is top notch. The class room sizes are small and the teachers really invest into and love the kids. French is not what we speak at home but both kids have now picked it up extremely well which is amazing. The after school care is fantastic - done by the same staff without any transition so they kids just roll right into it and love it. Our kids are well rounded, well taught and have excellent and friendly friends. If I could do a 6 star review, I would. Can't say enough great things.

Our daughter started in the preschool MKC program last fall. We have been very happy with the teachers and the school community. As a parent of 3 older children who did not attend EB, I have been exposed to several school environments. I can say that EB is truly special. The community of parents, teachers, and administrators is wonderful. And the early results from the bilingual immersion (not really immersion in preschool) have been cool. My daughter started in the fall and now in the spring she is actually speaking some French. I am really looking forward to continuing our daughter's education at EB.

EB is a wonderful school with caring teachers and a fantastic international vibe. We are very happy with our daughter there and areblooking forward to our youngest starting in the fall.

After 3 years in a traditional PK program in Lafayette, we made the decision to enroll our daughter into EB. We aren't French speakers but we wanted to give our daughter the gift of a second language. We loved the idea of our daughter being in a multi-cultural, multi-lingual environment as one way of expanding her worldview. We've only been in the school for a year but our family couldn't be happier. It's a huge commitment for us not just financially but from a geography standpoint as we live in Walnut Creek. However, to see our daughter embracing a second language with so much confidence makes it all worth it. One of our concerns was that our daughter might feel self-conscious trying to speak a new language and not be the creative, outgoing person that she is. But, the teachers take great care in creating an environment that is fun, nurturing and fosters a love of learning so each child feels safe to pick-up the language at their own pace. It's been a wonderful experience for our family and we can't say enough good things.

All my kids went there and loved it. They had great teachers and made lifelong friends.nAs a French born American, I found an impressively diverse, caring and lively community. The non American, non French families are worth a special mention in my opinion. They come from all continents and together represent ~50 countries (how is that for a school of ~500 students?). Many do not have English or French as a language spoken at home and still choose eb for their kids. I think this is the best proof of how much of a gem eb is
