I have lived in El Cerrito for over 20 years. In my experience living here and in northern Virginia since graduating college, the El Cerrito police are the most responsive, professional and caring police I have experienced. Thank you for your support of our city.

Hate to burst your anger bubble, but since 1985, the state takes 85 percent of revenues collected from traffic fines. The court takes about another nine percent so, no, department is not generating revenu
