What a cool place! Such a great selection of furniture and building supplies. Everything is so cheap and the staff is so friendly.
Not an honest business. Here to take advantage of the community instead of serving the community. Do not donate to this business. It refused to pay for my window yet selling it over $40. You are better off to sell/buy on Craigslist or goodwill.
One of the quintessential Berkeley experiences is to browse through the eclectic used/recovered items at Urban Ore. It is also really useful: hand tools, lumber, hardware, and random sports equipment.
I love this place as I am an avid diy-er and I love vintage housewares. The prices have gone way way way up since I first started shopping here but it's still a great place to find hidden gems.
