Hayward Amtrak Station

A good amount of homeless around the area. Some broken glass in parking lot. There's only a waiting area: no places to buy tickets or any other building. Security cameras around the parking lot.

No fuss train station serving Amtrak Capital Corridor. Not much in terms of amenities. Departure board, some automated announcements on a speaker that could use an upgrade, and a very small covered area for bad weather. Free parking and there are cheap bike lockers. Don't leave your car here overnight, it's a known spot for break-ins and theft.

Central location with easy access to multiple SF East Bay Area cities.

Would be nice if it had an indoor waiting area .. but it gets the job done
