Stafford County Sheriff's Department

I called the non emergency number tonight for a possible gas leak. I was not going to be able to sleep thinking it was a possibility. The woman who answered was so kind. She told me exactly what to do and the Fire department would be there shortly. The response time was fast! Very thankful!

This department does not follow the Constitution of the United States. You have entered a foreign country when you enter this county. All of your rights as a US Citizen have been removed. Your life and your property are at extreme risk while in this county. Do NOT trust the officers of this department. They are incorrectly trained due to poor leadership in the department and the county.

These men and women have been called to my house numerous times for petty things since I rent my 6 bedroom house out individually. Each time they have been more than professional and as helpful as they can given each situation. Thanks for doing what you do and keep it safe and keep up the hard work!

Virginia is not a stop and i.d. state. Duh.
