Roanoke City Police Department

My previous experiences with the police department really highlighted their lack of knowledge and/or training. The officers are obviously not at fault for this but I do feel more training on job specific duties are a must. Hopefully your superiors will get on the same page and help you guys and gals out.

I'd like to give a shout out to our men & women in blue. Roanoke's Star City, Lieutenant Newman, Especially appreciated your attention to detail & your outstanding follow up. You people wouldnt know

Not very much can be said about jail that doesn't carry negative undertones, truth is, this had been the absolutely worse experience I've ever had, I'm not naive, ignorant, nor unaware, yet I am truly disheartened but the examples of ppls ways and actions which shows and proves. Since I have left the jail 1 week ago on Wednesday, I've suffered 3 other racially charged assaults upon my mental and emotional being which has caused undue stress to an already heavy load.

I got in a very bad wreck several months ago and the girl who hit me was on serious drugs, they let her go and when it came time for court she didn’t show up. 4 months later they still haven’t arrested her or brought her to court, and I have seen this girl all over roanoke. They could care less about doing their job
