Booz Allen Hamilton

Don't know what happened to my original review. Worked for Booz-Allen at this location for 2yrs. Met a lot of great people. Work-life and Balance is great but there is no direction from management. Was on a contract for over 6 months with no support from supervisors. Was left as a new employee to represent Booz Allen on a remote site with the Navy Lead and BAE in a war between Booz Allen and BAE. Everything was a finger pointing game. I was there to learn and receive instruction on a new system that required training with no support. Left that contract and began working under Marine Distance Learning to find that I was being disrespected by upper management because they didnt have a manager that could coach or offer mentor-ship for a junior programmer. Di-spite all of the mentor-ship programs I pushed forward and learned the requires skills to work bulk data migration and advanced analytics. Job manager ridiculed me for personal hobbies and other things at meetings in front of other employees where we were asked in team building to share things from our personal lives or face a negative evaluation. Got tired of the ignorance. How is a technology company so closed minded to a programmer that has other aspirations other than just programming. Personal lives are personal. No one deserves to be treated in that manor, or be the object of ridicule among their peers for having different hobbies than everyone else. Childish Management. Thrown under the buss too many times. Screw this site! Not worth the time and the little pay.

Awesome employer! Best place to work! Cares for employees! Pays employees during furlough. Finds work for employees to transition too.

It's a business park. Looks nice, but not much to do if you don't work there.

I'm a former Booz Allen employee and have fond memories of my former team and leadership. The work was collaborative and challenging and I value my time spent with the firm. It is a dynamic place to work.
