Police Department

Had a car accident in the town. The cop filled out the police report with complete bulls**t. I contacted the State trooper he said he talked to - Trooper never talked to any local and lyed saying I admitted to something I never did. Station never returns calls - you have to hunt the officer down.

I recently called because I heard noises in my house and was just a little scared, I called and they were there immediately. Very kind officers checked the house and made me feel so safe and relieved. Thank you Oakham Police!!

I heard on PBS about the problems your town is having with used syringes. Why the hell don't you require that before a new syringe is distributed and old one has to be turned in?

Was in a serious accident.. and left the scene because it was dark and cold... and i was in the woods..... car was in ditch. officers autimatically assumed I was speeding and wrote me up for it not even seeing what happened. Few days later they had a woman officer near my home and i was stopped for speeding... yet... i seen the officer waaaaay ahead of the time i was stopped... i made sure to go the limit... officer lied and wrote me for speeding based on the other officer's assumption from the night of the accident.. i am being harassed constantly.. even as i watch my speedlimit and correctly have my car insured and inspected. Not right after the accident... i was also given nonsense tickets about my tints, even after passing inspection with them.... i am seriously growing tired of the harrasment... i wonder if they're racist towards hispanics.... as they also treated my female cousin poorly while pregnant, having her file a complain as well in the past. Or maybe its all because of the life threatning accident i survived but abandoned the car after waiting 20 min. In cold weather and dark woods.... please help me understand the constant harrasment and reason for stating lies. I have had my license in NY clean, spotless, and all of a sudden i come to a town where all the cops are Caucasian and seem to love seeking out to ruin my day but more importantly future....
