Western Antique Aeroplane and Automobile Museum (WAAAM)

Wow - What a nice surprise of the quantity of antique planes, cars, motorcycles and other items. The restoration work is wonderful in not only making items look great, but in most cases, still functional. It is easy to spend a couple hours or even more depending on how much history you want to absorb. Very knowledgeable volunteers point out many of the special planes and one-of-a-kinds. I didn't bother posting pics as today was a smokey day and it didn't allow as much light in the skylights as needed for better pictures.

This was a really neat place. We were vacationing in Hood River and drove by while wine tasting. The museum is very well kept and all the volunteers ride around on little scooters. I’m glad we stopped by and was able to support this place.

This is one of the primer Aviation museums. The staff is helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The displays are meticulous. Almost every aircraft and automobile in this place looks as if could be driven or flown on a whim. Very well Done!

Wow! If you like planes and cars from the early to mid 1900s you will be amazed and speechless. If that's not your thing then you'll balk at the entry fee. Stories from the founder and volunteers add to the experience as well. Amazing!

All the employees/volunteers were great, and able to give plenty of stories. The are so many beautiful planes and cars , and so much more
