Spring is a great time to visit this botanical garden. The flowering trees, shrubs and bulbs are delightful. This is not the biggest or best garden I've seen, but it is very nice and it is free. The grounds are well kept and I really enjoy the sculptures too. In the summer the roses are very nice.

It doesn’t get any better than the Arboretum - open to the public and without cost. It has beautiful trails off of the main 2-mile paved track wide enough for walkers, runners, strollers, and more to enjoy it while feeling safe during the pandemic. In the spring, summer, and fall, it plays host to flora and fauna from all over the beautiful Commonwealth. For kids, the staff have seem and finds and other educational material (such as the Story Walk) that makes for a lovely afternoon if you add in a picnic (tables and trash cans provided) and a round of frisbee or football in the expansive grass fields. Locals and guests love this park and you will too!

This was a great and simple place for the kids to enjoy a little run-around time. The children’s garden looks like a good on of fun but it is closed right now for some reason.

It's located in the bustling center of town, but when you're there you feel like you're miles from the city. Take a walk and discover the numerous gardens tucked away. Even catch a Pokemon or two.
