Holiday Inn Express & Suites Lexington-Downtown/University

Very good! The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The gentleman at the desk was pleasant, thorough, and just a very nice young man.nnI appreciate how the staff overworked themselves, thanks to Queen Beshear's tyrannical rules.nnIt will be nice when we can swim, mix and mingle, or just eat a real breakfast in the breakfast room.nnIt will also be nice when the fear mongers will allow us the freedom to show and view each other's smiles

Very nice room! The staff was excellent. I was there because my husband had surgery, he wasn't released from the hospital til after checkout. They let us stay and were so nice and understanding!

Overall a good place, like other commenters don't show up before 3pm on the dot, even if gold member. Only 3 cars in parking lot on a Sunday afternoon and even at 3pm scrambling to see if our room was cleaned. Understandable that pool and gym closed but when waiting for the clock to strike 3 having access to a bathroom would be nice while waiting 25 minutes. Book a room for more than 2 people and you still only get 2 towels and told to bring a dirty one to exchange for clean one. If booking a room for 2 adults and 2 children should be a no brainier that 4 towels would be needed. Positives are it is close to everything and rooms were clean.

The room was great it was nice and clean however the price was not so great considering we did not have access to the swimming pool or the physical fitness center. Due to the covid-19. However the Last Holiday Inn Express that I stayed in we did have access to the pool and jacuzzi even though the covid-19 was going on and it was in Kentucky also. So I think the price if my room should have been reduced since I did not get the things that were supposed to have came with my room. Also there was no continental breakfast either that should have been a reduction also.

There was a gorgeous 6’3 woman with the sweetest voice who was very helpful with getting everything together for my stay. Can’t lie I almost want to stay again just so I can ask her out to dinner.
