Rupp Arena

Renovations are underway that make you feel like you are in a construction zone. But the finished product should really make Rupp Arena a classy place to go and watch the best basketball team on the planet! The food is exceptional for a sporting facility and serve local dishes that appeal to fans. The prices are fantastic for a full meal and you won't feel you paid too much. The seats a tight and will remind you if you need to start a new diet. The seats are well marked and will help you find your seats easily. The staff are friendly and will answer any question you may have. Security is tight (as it should be) and parking is available on the backside of the facility or a parking structure one block away.

Rupp arena is a leader in hosting great events! We attended an event couple weeks ago at Rupp and loved it! We had cheap parking across from the building, great staff flagging for parking, easy to find entrance, fast security staff getting everyone through a huge line! We had a great time and would be absolutely thrilled to go back!

Glad they offer some food items again. But many faucets in the restrooms are the kind that won't stay on, so it's hard to wash your hands thoroughly as we are supposed to do. Also, some of the ushers on the aisle at the games sit right behind seats with people instead of a safe distance and one talked to people with his mask pulled down. They are supposed to be good examples for others!

Horrible.nThere was a power-hungry gate Keeper fighting with a mom of 2 over what a “diaper bag” looks like. She ended up sending us back to our car, in the snow, with 2 minutes exhausted kids over a standard size wallet being .5” too long. A half inch. Not sure whose lives they’re saving with these policies but it’s insanity at best. I’m hoping just a mental illness or incredibly poor leadership. We don’t plan to return unless we absolutely can’t avoid it.

Excited to see how the new renos will turn out! Rupp will always feel like home to me. Can't wait for conventions to come back.
