I had to stay here after getting out of the hospital and needed a handicap room that was wheelchair accessible. This hotel was 5 star staff across the board. They were very accommodating with making sure I had everything I needed. The housekeepers offered to help with my wheelchair and luggage. The manager was very friendly and helpful with anything I needed delivered to my room from food to a complimentary mini fridge with freezer for my ice packs. The maintenance man offered to get my bucket of ice for me since I couldn’t hold it myself.nMy waiter in the restaurant offered to push my wheelchair for me to the elevator. There was a lot of noise from the construction and internet was spotty in some rooms of the hotel, but the friendly staff made up for that.nThe hotel was also clean and the SPA had the best facial I’ve ever gotten. Hydra-Facials are amazing there!
In relation to other places I've stayed, the Marriott was very decent, especially considering the price. However, we did learn that the affordable price we received was due to COVID-19 and construction that was going on while we were there. Normally the prices to stay here are astronomical, so keep that in consideration. The hotel was beautiful, rooms were kept very nice and clean. The beds were comfortable, but they were a dense memory foam so at first they feel very firm. They form to your body shape, so if you toss and turn like I do, when you move there will be a crater where your body was before and it'll take a few minutes for it to adjust. The linens were top notch and very clean. One of the downsides is that because of the construction, there was no ice available on any floor. Additionally, we were told that a cafe would be open in the morning for breakfast and that there was also a Starbucks in the lobby. When we came down at 11am, everything was closed so we had to wait until after checkout to find food elsewhere. The last thing that sucked is I woke up and my room was 82 degrees inside. It was unbearable so I kept cranking down the thermostat to try and get some cold air flowing and it only ever ended up cooling down to 80 degrees. It was pretty unbearable and I had to leave my room because I was overheating.
Nice place, everyone is very friendly! Beds are too firm for me but they were happy to bring extra pillows.nI didn't use any other part of the hotel, I'm happy to hang out in the room.nThe only issues I had.. the thermostat can't be lowered less than 64. The room was quite warm, woke up about 5 times. They did provide a fan for the next night.nThe bathroom has sliding doors that are cute, but in my room when I try to open them to get it, they would stick at the top.nThey did say they would go and check it out.nI would stay here again
Me and my husband stayed here and we booked it online. A King bed with small balcony. Once we got to the hotel to check in the front desk didn't say much, she didn't confirm the room type or anything. Once we get to out room we see Two DOUBLE QUEEN beds. My husband instantly called front fest before we put any of our belongings down. Front desk was lost she didn't know much of anything. She told my husband that all the kings were being renovated so they didn't have any to give us. So lack of communication upon arrival. The next morning we woke up to ants all over the floor by the bathroom sliding doors. They sent house keeping in to vacuum them up. I will NEVER stay here again nor do I recommend it. And all the front desk could do is put points on my account
This is a nice hotel/resortnThe golf course is very playable.nThe hotel was undergoing renovations. The new renovated rooms are very nice. One big issue the bathroom doors are noisy and with the glass allow too much light into the room. Need a better door solution.
