Coos County Sheriff's Office

I’ve only had contact with one Sheriff and he was a great guy! He stood out in the dark, pouring down rain for at least an hour with me after I had put my car in a ditch. I’m new to Coos County and he made me laugh and he made me feel safe! I didn’t catch his name but he was my hero that night. ud83dude18

They answered the phone,,, they will not deal with an extremely loud dog at 10 o'clock at night in lakeside. I was told I can have my deputy call you. We will only send animal control tomorrow.nTo protect and to serve... I guess not.

Ran into a couple of your guys and they were super awesome and friendly. While they could have cited us for trespass, they instead made it a humorous situation and said to leave by morning. They were very nice about it though.

i have worked with this office on numerous occasions, as i own many properties, i have found them to be prompt (despite budgeting restraints), courteous, imformative, one of the things i like best, is they try to find , sensible solutions to resolve issues, just remember, they are there to enforce the laws, that protect our citizenry, and at times those same laws, is what ties there hands, in what they can to protect our rights, and unfortunately those same laws that we abide by, is what the criminal element hides behind, so in reality, that responding , officer, daily, has to the walk that fine line, of what is morally right, and what the law allows, keep that in mind , when the outcome, is not neccesarily what you desired
