Busy, but beautiful campground. Book in advance if you can. Best spots are facing the ocean - private, but more expensive. Don't always count on getting the spot you reserved. The camp host is accommodating to a fault and moves people around. We first stayed in ocean front spot #21, which was big enough for our 19' trailer + truck, and our friend's Teardrop. They had to pay an extra vehicle fee ($5 I think). We were then moved to spot #1 (also ocean front) which fit both trailers and cars. This one had a great view of the lake where we were mesmerized by a few professional foil kiters.nnThe lake is 40’ above the ocean and separated by a big sand dune. Wind was not super strong all the time which made for good paddle boarding. Kiting on the lake and/or walk your kite over to the ocean for wave riding. It’s pretty cold here.

Very clean, quiet, and relaxing. Camp host was very engaging and accommodating. 5-stars!

Wonderful place for a hike and an exciting time at the beach. RV camp nearby, horse friendly and a quiet lake to wind surf and fish. A nice hidden gem if you don't like crowds. ud83eudd17

Nice spot for picnic. Loved the lake by the ocean. Spent 5.5 hours just on the beach alone. Only been day use but I really enjoyed being here. $5.00 day use parking fee.
