I would not use this funeral home! They did not consider the spouse of the deceased but catered more to what the step son wanted. They gave the step son the death certificate before the spouse which caused a lot of problems! To this day the spouse has not received the death certificate. The spouse wanted to put picture on the pamphlet and had written a paragraph to put on it but it was not considered. They need to cater more to what all family members want not just the step son.

Shaffer-Jensen provided a great product, the pre-paid insurance for ournmother. We were very pleased with the immediate help we received.nWe only have a few critiques; When a policy is being written, please make sure all paper-work is completed, i.e notice that all immediate family agrees to immediate cremation, no viewing of any kind.. otherwise, everything was beautifully handled

The actual services provided on the day of remembrance were handled very well. The only gentleman available was over the top helpful and supportive throughout the entire service. However... the days leading up to the service could have been handled with much more care and dignity. Question asked by me were not answered to me as the daughter of the deceased. They were imidietly routed to other family members which caused extreme turmoil between family members. And to this day the questions I had have not been addressed. Shame on you Shaffer-Jensen for never contacting the remaining family even after such requests. The handling of my mother's body was respectful. The actual services were respectful. However the concerns of over half of the family were ignored. Regardless of the information sent to you via email etc. The gentlemen I personally delt with, the day of Mom's passing and the day of the actual service, were wonderful. You, in charge of email response, should be ashamed and chose another profession. Just my own personal opinion. (And that of several family members around the surrounding communities)
