Well kept and maintained grounds - the signs for each pad to play Disc Golf ⛳ is very helpful for new players ud83dudc4d. The Disc Golf course is easy-to-difficult all throughout. A challenging course for every level of player. I spoke with other players who told me that they drove 2 hours from Jackson Hole, Wyoming to play this course.nIt's worth it! I'm from Phoenix, Arizona where there's a lot of great courses and Idaho Falls should be proud to have a top notch course in their city.
Part of that string of green spaces lining the Snake River, the beautiful Freeman Park is on the east bank, just south of the Idaho State University Campus.nnOn the river walk you can take a little detour or find a spot in this ample green space for a picnic.nnPaved trails for walking, jogging and cycling course through Freeman Park, past tall mature trees.nnAmong the many facilities on hand there’s an 18-hole disc golf course, a children’s playground with newly updated equipment, an outdoor shelter and picnic tables.nnMaybe the most relaxing spot is right by the Snake River where there are plenty of benches if you just want to watch it flowing past.
Beautiful large outdoor park. It has a number of different shelters for family or friends events as well as an 18 hole disc golf course. The long paved want trail connected to the popular green belt trail. It's a beautiful 4+mile walk around the Snake River.
This is a great park. Expansive lawns, mature trees, fun playground, nice walking/jogging paths (including a lovely stretch right along the Snake River). The Frisbee golf course is very nice. And there are nice sledding hills in winter. Highly recommended for all ages.
This is one of my favorite places to take my dog. It's peaceful, beautiful, and runs alongside the river. The trail is well maintained and people's dogs tend to be on leashes. There are plenty of trash cans to clean up puppy waste.
