I have always had a wonderful experience with the officers here. Recently, my toddler locked me out of the house and what seemed like the most stressful and scary experience was turned into the most memorable. The officer who responded went above and beyond to help relax my frantic mom nerves and help me get to my son. He treated both my son and I with respect and most importantly like we were human beings. With this while pandemic situation, it was nice to see an officer unafraid of us and just showed pure kindness. He took the time to show my son his car, lights and even gave him a little badge. He didn't think twice about giving high fives and getting us to smile. It gave me hope that NM law enforcement will stand with the people and they haven't forgotten their oath. This is a simple reminder of how much these men and women are needed. Thank you.
