Juniper Campground

When you enter the park there is a fee kiosk. This one is for admission to the park... If you are camping, pass this one and follow the signs to the campgrounds. There is another kiosk at the campground entrance to pay to camp. Roads are paved and level, campsites are well maintained, restrooms are clean with flushing toilets & running water, there is firewood for purchase. There is water and sewage dump during the summer. Lots of great rock formations to climb, plenty of deer, no light pollution when there are few campers. Made for some amazing stargazing.

Loved it only draw was some road noise above the campground. Beautiful views and the stars at night awesome

Juniper campground at bandelier national Park. A great place to spend one two three maybe even four nights while you're seeing bandolier right out of Los Alamos New Mexico.

Very solid campground. Excellent facilities. Bathrooms water access is outstanding. Each site has a fire ring with grill and a picnic table, most have bear boxes. Firewood is available for 1 dollar a large log. The Coyote Loop was closed, it appears to have more shade, the Abert and Bobcat loops have some shade sites, but it's limited. Shade in crucial during the summer and when it's hot. Close to Valles Caldera too.

Great campsites. Clean facilities. What more do you want when camping?
