It would make no different if Sandoval sheriffs were defunded. They do nothing anyways.

Be cautious when dealing with these men. They will lie to protect their own who have been behind wrongdoing. I had an incident where an officer was harassing me. 4 APD officer came to my rescue to make me feel safe. Unfortunately they sent me to the Sheriff's captain to have this matter resolved. Times and dates were important to me so I asked the name of the individuals I was speaking to as I wanted to document my encounter. One lady hung up on me when asked her information. The questions had to do with the Sheriff in question and not herself. Later I found them complaining about me. I don't know the name of the individual who made this complaint. It has been one lie after the next. I said this officer was speeding. Afterward they claimed I was driving recklessly. I made a complaint and initiated the call to 911, they turned around and tried complaining against me for complaining against them. It's code blue wall of silence here. I was told the captain was on vacation during this incident so he was delayed responding. He later told me his detective didn't call 911 right away but called him when he was on vacation. I discovered when my call to 911 took place, records show this officer called his officers ten minutes after my call. When I asked the captain to prove this call, I was told to not talk to his office again. I sent an email to the Department of Justice to look into this incident. I hope the truth comes to light as these men felt very dishonest in all their statements.

With the pandemic of COVID-19 going on, we had to cancel our daughters 7th birthday party. We were instructed by dispatch to call the day of her birthday to request deputies to come out for a birthday parade. We called the day of, April 21st (1:24pm), spoke to dispatch, gave all information and were told we would receive a call back right away. About 30 minutes went by (2:00pm) and I called to follow up and one dispatcher said, “Yes, we have a call out. You just have to wait for them to show up.” By now it had been over an hour from the initial call when I was told they would come, so I called dispatch again (2:45) to find out if they were coming and was told, “we’re busy and there are only certain officers that do these parades. We are getting ready to start a new shift, try later.” I wish we would have been told from the beginning that only “certain officers” participate in these parades and I would have never had my anxious, 7 year old waiting in the drive way for them to come by. While I know you guys are busy, I was never told you guys weren’t coming until waiting over an hour outside with my daughter. Great job, Rio Rancho! You left a beautiful, 7 year old waiting for people she looks up to, to never show up. Disappointed is an understatement.

I get my car towed and come to find out either apd or Rio Rancho towing stole over $300 in birthday presents that I had for my son's birthday gifts in my car.... Does it make you all happy now that my son dont get his birthday presents im a single mom barely making it and cant replace you all make me sick i hope you can live with yourself to take a child's birthday gifts..n..
