Although a fairly small museum many fun things that would easily allow you to spend almost the entire day there. We went during COVID times and it was all well managed. Capacity was limited and kids were able to enjoy of pretty much most amenities. The big playground and science (fluids room) were some of my favorites. My kids like those and the theater section. Worth checking out!

This is one of my very favorite places to take my one-year-old. Even though times are a bit crazy, I have never felt unsafe or worried about visiting CMC. We stayed in the house out of caution for months because of the virus, not leaving to go anywhere, but have recently started going out to places again and we definitely feel comfortable that CMC is one of them. I’m so excited to have a place to take my son that not only I’m comfortable about but that he loves as well, after months of us going stir-crazy in the house. The staff is friendly, there are many safety measures in position, and it’s never too busy. We love it there! Highly recommend for parents with littles!

Wonderful place for kids to be kids! Different areas that are fun but also stimulating. Safe place for kids to play and explore. My kids ages were under 2, 5, 7, and 9, and they all had something to do in each area. Staff is friendly and helpful. I would definitely come back and recommend this place!

We were visiting family in the area and decided to visit the Children's Museum. I was impressed with how many staff were continuously on the floor ensuring rooms weren't overcrowded and play areas were kept clean. My kids especially loved playing in the water. There was an employee in the room at all times cleaning the toys and collecting the used aprons. There was another employee walking around cleaning railings, door handles, etc. Each room also had 1 or more hand sanitizer stations. I would definitely recommend the Children's Museum and will be visiting again the next time we're in the area.

My five-year-old son loves the children's museum. The historic building is lovely. They have a huge room where he can run and climb all day. He enjoys dressing up and dancing on the stage. And he really enjoys the water table room. There are vending machines, so if you want more substantial food, you're free to pack snacks and bring them in. Parking is free too.
