Perfect House for our Ski WeekendnMy family and I had a great experience staying at Your Own Cabin. The location was conveniently located less than 5 minutes from the slopes at Hunter Mountain. The description and photos of the property were extremely accurate. It was perfect for our group of 10 – plenty of space and beds, and we loved the open layout. Everything was very clean and neat. Brett and his staff were a pleasure to deal with – very professional and responsive to any questions we had before, during and after our stay. I highly recommend this property and we look forward to coming back again next year!

Great property! We rented for our annual ski trip to Hunter and this place was perfect. There were seven of us but there were plenty of beds for everyone and a large open common area for socializing after a day at the slopes. The rental process was pretty straightforward and we really appreciated how there was always someone to help anytime we had a question. Would definitely come back again!

The house was as advertised comfortably sleeping our group of eight with the ability to sleep more. We stayed at the house on a weekend ski trip to Hunter and it provided a well-managed commute to the mountain. I would imagine the house would be just as nice in the spring or summer with locations close to hiking paths and the property well equipped for a beautiful spring day. Highly recommended for anyone any time of year! All interactions with Brett and the 4 Seasons Getaway staff were very helpful and accommodating leading up to, during and following our trip.

Amidst a pandemic, the best way to have a safe vacation with my entire family was to go on a road trip and rent a house. We were 9 adults, a one year old, and a dog. The cabin had more than enough space to accommodate everyone comfortably. The kitchen, dining, and living area was the perfect open space for a large group to eat, watch movies, and hang out altogether. The one thing everyone appreciated was how clean everything was. The outdoor space accommodated 4 cars easily where everyone can go in and out. All the restaurants were close by so takeout was a cinch. There are plenty of hiking trails all around and it takes less than 20min by car. We all made use of the fire pit and picnic tables (we basically ate outside every chance we had) where our dog had the time of his life. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him so happy. We basically wanted to spend quality time together as a family without the stress of planning so many details and this cabin gave us one of the best vacations, ever. We didn’t have any major issues, just minor questions but responses arrived within 5 minutes. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone with big groups/families looking to stay in Hunter.

With so much going on with the COVID-19 pandemic we were looking for a family getaway to reenergize and reconnect. The property location was perfect for us as it allowed us to explore many of the hiking trails, lakes, and mountains. The cabin was clean and the space was absolutely perfect for our family. The photos and description of the cabin matched what was on the website. Most impressive was the cleanliness of the cabin. Also, we loved the outdoor fire pit as it was perfect to make those summer s’mores.”
