Scott Mclendon's Hardware Store never disappoints me. With such a large inventory of household, gardening and hardware goods, I often ask for help in locating things on my list. 90% of the time, I'm led to the exact spot on the shelf or rack where the article can be found. Pleasant, efficient and friendly are accurate descriptors of Ace employees.
Tons of workers walking around but they will go through great lengths to look busy when you need something. Last time I visited I walked laps around the building looking for something. After my 3rd time I decided to ask for help but nobody was available. So I started walking laps again. After quite some time I noticed that a worker was starting to watch me from afar and following me around....Instead of asking if I needed help finding something he decided to just keep at a distance watching as if I was about to steal something. A blind man could of seen that I was frustrated and looking for something. I don't know how frustration and confusion got mistook for mischievousness. I'll go back to dealing with the airheads at Lowe's.
Locally owned and operated. The employees are a valuable resource to ask when you are not sure where something is or exactly what you are looking for. They have so much stashed away that it is near impossible to know where everything is located as a customer. Decent selection of lumber for a hardware store. Plants are healthy that we have bought from them and they have a large selection of paints for any of the projects you have planned.
They were very helpful at finding me what I needed they were very kind and friendly I only need it for bolts and for nuts it's nice to go in to where you can buy just what you need I go there all the time great store
