Smoke Shack Cafe

Good meat, not the best I have ever had (a little short on the smoke flavor) but still tender and juicy. Avoid the collard greens they lack the standard bacon/smokey flavor, but the beans were extremely tasty, which was a nice surprised as I was not sure what to expect as they are more of a golden/yellow bean, rather than traditional brown beans. All in all I really enjoy this place and go frequently on lunch, as I want to support and keep this little gem in the Manchester area.

Got the fried catfish fillet. Fried perfectly and tasted great. I would recommend it for sure. Best catfish I've had so far up here in New England. But... It's nothing like fresh caught catfish. The fried catfish I had was not as flakey like fresh caught. I will get it again though. It was a big tasty portion that hit the spot

We came across the Smoke shack by a google search and based on reviews we decided to give it a shot. We ordered pulled pork, brisket, mac and potato salad. Everything was great with the exception of the potato salad it was just OK. The store should reconsider their recipe. Te curbside service was fantastic. The staff were very nice!

We were looking for some good barbecue and with 4.6 stars our hopes were high. However, they fell flat. The barbecue sauce wasn’t the best, the ribs were dry, and the cowboy beans were flavorless. The chili and the cornbread were the only 2 things with outstanding flavor. With the barbecue sauce being okay, there was nothing to “coat” our food with, and without it, it was just bland. Sorry to say, we will not be back.

Nice selection of meats. Friendly wait staff. Mac and cheese was soupy, sausage smoked perfectly and catfish was excellent. Potato salad not so good.
