Awesome place for kids. Have a lot of exhibitions and kids can have fun. The moonwalk is closed currently.
Overall a good experience for the family. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because I went with my 6 month old son and my older son and I had to leave him and my husband to breast feed in the car...I only wish they would have told me when I walked out I’d be locked out of the building...in January. I thought we’d be right back so I left my belongings at the entrance with the coat racks along with my phone. We spent a good hour or so outside until my husband and son were done and came out, but no one was by the doorway any of the times I went by to check or knock.
It's a really good hidden gem in Manchester. In the mills, they not only have a great set of exhibits to keep the kids educated and entertained, but they also explain some really big science in a way that kids can understand.
A lot of fun for my 7 and 2 year old grandchildren. They are restricting access right now, so make reservations. This also means it is not super crowded.
I brought my nephew here a few years ago (age 4?) and he loved several of the exhibits. A lot of interesting and interactive activities for young kids.
