Star Nails & Spa

Came to Star Nails for the first tome today and had an amazing experience! I am new to the area and was searching for a new nail salon and went into to Star and I’m so glad I did. All the staff were so nice and friendly, the salon was extremely clean and, they did a great job on my nails. Will be back for sure!

I went to get my acrylic nails filled. I called ahead to schedule an appointment. Dropping in I've found you always have to come back so calling ahead and scheduling an appointment is a must if you are on a time schedule. They have a huge selection of gel nail polish colors. The staff are friendly and welcoming and always have a big smile on their face. The shape of my acrylic set came out perfect, I couldn't be more pleased.

I wouldn't recommend going here for anything more than a regular nail polish. Today I went to get my acrylic filled nails and gell nail polish removed because I didnt want the upkeep and instead of sanding the acrylic off he pried the acrylic off with a cuticle cutting tool and sliding a fake nail under to pry it off. This has severely damaged my nails to the point they're thin and brittle and rough to the touch. Even with a clear protective coat on top my nails have been breaking and bending.

DO NOT GO HERE! I made an appointment for my wedding party to come get our nails done 2 months in advance. Told them we had 8 people and asked if they could accommodate, they stated yes. When we got there there were only 3 people working so they rushed through our nails. I was the bride and they spent 15 minutes doing my shellac French manicure. They looked terrible, no one got a massage or lotion, and they way over charged. If you don’t have the staff to accommodate that large of a party, just say so. Will never return!

We made an appointment for a bridal party of 8, they assured us they could accommodate us. There were 3 people working for 8 pedicures and nails!!!!! We were rushed they our nails, no massage, edges weren’t properly filed, cash only. Rather than upset the bride, we all sucked it up and thank god we never have to go back!
