Arbor Montessori Schools

My two kids have been coming here since they we’re babies. Now my oldest is turning 6 and is excited to start the new school year as a k-leader. Great programs, great staff, very organized, wonderfully located, allowing for walks to the library, YMCA, and farmer’s market in Wednesday’s, and lots of space for the kids to run, plant, and even take care of chickens! Highly recommend!

I think what sets this school apart is the amazing teachers! They work so hard to ensure the success of each child in their care. When I talk to the elementary aged children I am always so impressed with how articulate they are and so excited about the work they are doing.nnand they have chickens too!

Amazing, authentic Montessori program! The early childhood program is great. But the elementary program (through 6th grade) is so cool and unique. The oldest kids went to New York to participle in the Montessori Model United Nations! So cool!

We had a hard time while our 3-year-old kid was in Arbor. While overall school staff tried to be friendly and helpful. Few points, in my opinion, like lack of a dedicated place for a nap, short Wednesdays or communication problems with English not being first language for my son caused a behavioral crisis which Arbor was unable to tackle and we had to withdraw our son mid-year.nP.S. Read the Family Handbook!

The primary and elementary teachers seem great; however, we never made it that far. Our child was in the toddler room with Ms Keely and she was terrible. She is inflexible, arguably rude to parents, and regularly not engaged with the kids but rather relies on the more junior teacher helpers. The administration seems to be afraid of her as nothing changes. If you have a toddler do not choose Arbor.
