Bad bad experience. Brought small area rug 6X8 for cleaning in late May. Price quoted was $50. Scheduled for pickup June 1. Not ready when I went in then and price upped to $60.nReturned on new ready date June 8. Told it would be ready then but new price $75. Outrageous! Unrolled to inspect. It had not even been cleaned. As dirty as when I brought in. Took back to Highlands Cleaners immediately. They wanted to charge again to clean it as they were supposed to first time.nNot paying again we told him.Trying again. Will see if it is finally clean when I pick it up June 12.

I have been coming to this cleaners for years and have never had a problem until this past visit. I have brought in items to be cleaned and one cushion to have the strap sewn back on. When I brought the cushion in there were three straps and the fourth needed to be placed back on. When I picked it up only two straps were on it. I asked the employee what happened and she just stood and argued with me that I was incorrect. I told her I'm not as I have three other cushions that are identical. You can even see the stitches have been changed on both sides because the thread is the same color and not the correct color. Clearly one side was touched and shouldn't have been. So now I have a cushion that I can't use any longer. No apologies, no ok let's figure out a solution just I'm wrong. There clearly is a lesson that needs to be learned by this establishment. Customers beware of here. I will certainly share this dissatisfaction with all of my neighbors. I will not be returning in the future which is a shame that this was handled so poorly.
