We have been having The Maids clean our home for years. They are friendly, prompt and do very good work. They are contracted to do our floors and bathrooms every two weeks and they always go above and beyond by arranging pillows on sofa, folding blankets, wiping off counters and cleaning out our sink. We look forward to them coming because the house is amazing after. And it is the same ladies each time so you get to know them a bit. Cannot recommend highly enough.

I recently moved into a condo that looked as though it had not been cleaned in a year; there was a lot of grease build-up in the kitchen, dirt caked into corners... just disgusting. I called the maids because they were the first cleaning service to come up on a google search.nThis is an 800sf piece of property, so when I was quoted the cost and hours, for 4 people, I thought for sure that 4 people would have no problem killing the dirt.nInstead, they showed up 1 1/2 hours late, did a shoddy job, and didn't clean what I asked them to clean. When I called to complain, 'Sharon,' the receptionist, made excuses for the team, told me I had to call within 24hrs if I had a problem (the cleaning was done on Friday, I called on Monday, after moving in over the weekend). Customer service is horrible. I sent pictures of the dirty kitchen cabinets and drawers they left (but charged me for anyway) I mean, there were spills and hair and crumbs, disgusting. Below is an exerpt from the email I sent:nnIt doesn’t really mean anything to me, as the customer, that you trust your team leader- the issue is that I have paid your company $214 for services which were not provided. You mentioned that your leader stated that the kitchen was quite dirty, and that 3 people were cleaning it… this is precisely why I hired your company. I was willing to spend the money, assuming that the kitchen would be cleaned. Your response essentially says to me that it was too dirty for your company to clean appropriately- in which case, I should not have been notified at the time of service- not charged for services not received.nnI ended up vacuuming and wiping out all the cabinetry and drawers myself- after I’d paid for your services. I am extremely disappointed in the service I received- even more so due to the nature of our conversation and this $10 credit- which is a joke. Your company has grossly overcharged me for a poorly executed job.nnI was very clear in my expectations- but instead of saving myself time by hiring someone, I’m simply out $200 and have to clean anyway.
