Thanks for the reviews it helped alot with my decision to go withnthis company or not.I can see this company has been around for a while and only 6 reviews??? 3 are terrible and the other ones just have stars with no comment based on this alone I won't do it...thanks guys for your honesty

Here's my opinion about NHBA and for those looking to have assistance getting a home - feel free to message me and I'm happy to talk and show you the paperwork I had to complete & process!! I needed to find a place - knew I had credit issues - heard about NHBA - contacted them - met with them - had to complete & submit an application payment - I then went through a credit evaluation - received a letter saying that is would be 12-24 months before I could get a home - I could not wait - so I contacted a REALTOR who walked me through the process - I met with a Mortgage Company - ran credit - All good! I purchased my first home, on my own - not needing to wait over a year or so! Oh - during my meeting with NHBA, I needed to provide them with a months salary!! To this date - 16 years later - they still have my money! I have spoken with owner Mr. Lyons and Yes, he said NO, you can't have your money back - I even offered to take half back and end this - still NO!! SO - if you want to talk, see the paperwork, let me know!! DO NOT give them a months salary UNTIL you have know YOU are approved to look for a house!!!nnIn my opinion - and responding to Mr. Lyons response - I did not write this review to give a plug to anyone! I made the mistake in trusting his company - I was gullible, rushed into something I did not research well! hey, we live & learn!! Now a days, a company survives by word of mouth - and thanks to those who messaged me, I hope I answered your questions! And for 16 years - I am glad that I used a REALTOR! Although my credit was shaky - they put me in a home that I've been in for 16 years!!nnMy suggestion would be - for ANY company - DO NOT give any amount of money UNLESS you are guaranteed what you are needing in your time frame.. I have had $3200 and change sitting with NHBA for nothing! Yes - they require you to sign something that says No Refunds - that's how they get you! I could not wait the amount of time.. Oh well - you win some, you lose some!! Keep the messages coming to me folks! As you sit and watch TV - and you see the home commercials that say - let a REALTOR help you - believe me!! It helps!!!

They do anything for you but take your money and they don’t gave you any of your money back at all they owe me 6000 and I’m gonna get it one way
