I scheduled to have Drain-Eez come out and resolve an issue with a clog in my basement sink and possibly my sub-pump.nnThe owner of this company was accommodating of my schedule and called when he was on his way to my home. As soon as he looked at and 'examined' my sub-pump he instructed me that I needed a NEW one.nnHe and his assistant then started working on the clog and spent a good 10-15 minutes trying to unclog the basement sink. Since they could not fix it via the basement sink, he said he'd need to cut a section of my pipe so he could run a line that way. Another 20-30 minutes later and he informed me that he could not resolve the issue and I would have to get someone to TEAR UP THE FLOOR since the pipe was so badly clogged or broken!nnAfter hearing this, I decided to get another opinion because tearing up the floor would have costs me $1500 to 3000 dollars.nnI contacted another plumber and once he started working on the clog, it took him about 20 minutes to UNCLOG the drain. He also told me there was NOTHING wrong with my sub-pump.nnBTW, the Drain-Eez plumber's price was double what this other plumber charged and NOTHING was resolved. I would never recommend this plumber!
As a condo owner that can't seem to find an honest and reliable contractor, I'm very happy I found Pat and his team at Drain-EEZ. Pat was prompt to respond to my issue, explained the issue to me in terms I understood, and fixed my leaking shower quickly at a fair price. Thanks again, Pat! I'll definitely call Drain-EEZ the next time I have a plumbing issue.
