Excellent appetizers and great drinks.. The dinner itself was not.. It was average at best.. But the atmosphere and wait staff were very good.. Would be more stars but main meal made it a 3 for us
I'm never disappointed when I come to Truluck's. Ladies night was perfect from our drinks to our delicious food. I had the Stuffed South African Lobster Tail (it was WONDERFUL). With the covid menu it was not featured but our waiter made it happen.
We liked it. It was a bit pricey for what you get. The halibut special was tasty, but wasn't anything groundbreaking. It was served with a bacon vinegrette that had an odd taste. We opted for the lemon butter sauce. That was good.nOur waitress, Desi? Hmmm..not sure if that was her name. Hard to hear with masks, but she was fantastic and so was the bartender. She was awesome!n2 liked the baked Alaska dessert. 2 didn't like because of the almond flavor. I loved it!!!
They have African lobster, catches of the day imported from Florida and other areas, and the best seafood entrees and sides. I ordered the crab mac and cheese, lobster bisque and halibut with pilaf rice. See pics for deets. Service and food were 5/5.
Dinner on 3/21. The service was exemplary. The ambiance was alluring. The food was heavenly.
