Absolutely the best hot dog experience with minimal thought process to delay the great eating experience. Single dog or a double, minimal ingredients that make for an incredible experience. Order a tamale with a grape drink and just enjoy trip back to your youth. I only review The Best of the the best. Don't think about it, just go there and eat. My advice, take it, it'll be the best decision you made in a long time. Follow me, I'll keep you well fed. Share & like.
Nothing fancy, or no expansive menu. Just hotdogs fries, and tamales. Keep it simple, provide a good product at a fair price and you have a winner! I visited recently and it has been about 5 years since my previous time. Still good food and was STILL busy at 2:15 pm on a Wednesday. Plenty of help to get you in and out quickly. Plus NO ketchup on the dogs! My kind of place. I went there in the 70's when going to college and still a great stop. Plus I believe they are open pretty late at night.
A Chicago institution... I don't know how fries that are so greasy they border on soggy can be SO good, but they are. And the pop when you bite into that dog!nnI do like ALL the traditional Chicago dog toppings, and they only have a few of them, but the dog is great nevertheless. And at under $10 for two dogs, both with fries, and a large drink...hard to beat!
