Wish we could walk inside instead of looking through the gate at the door. Anyway, it was great seeing a piece of history. I went there on Tuesday, February 23, 2021.
Nicely preserved piece of early American history.
Interesting historic site, but abit out of way
Really cool to be in Illinois, yet be on the Missouri side of the Mississippi river. Didn't have a tour guide but that was OK. Pushed the door bell to open the door and saw the Liberty bell of the West along with an audio recording. The Church 2 doors down was also cool. This wasn't the best thing since sliced bread or anything but well worth the 1 hour trip from Barnhart, Missouri.
