We were offered something off our rent to write a review on here, but I’m genuinely writing this because this is one of the best apartments I have ever lived in and because I know it can be difficult to find an authentic review of an apartment. Nobody wants to read awesome reviews and then live there and hate it~nnNot only is the apartment pet friendly, spacious, and well taken care of, the lease lady is AMAZING and me and my boyfriend adore her. She’s the one who is usually handling everything the moment you walk in the door.nnThey hand deliver your mail, and some people may not like that they deliver your mail when you’re gone, but I enjoy it. All they do is unlock the door, put the mail in there, and lock the door back. You’re also free to pick up your packages too before they deliver it.nnNot only that but their apartments have gates that require a key for entry and living in Carbondale, that was super important to me. I also requested we didn’t live on the first floor and they made that work for us as we were put on the third floor. We were allowed to hang decorations, the carpet was well taken care of, have never had any issues with hearing noises from our neighbors or anything of the sort. The maintenance people are on top of their game—I see them out and about all the time. We had a issue with our air conditioning that we didn’t even know about because it was blowing out cold air, but it got fixed the next day.nnI think the biggest problem here is there blinds. They break easily, and usually whenever we try to open the blinds they fall off.. but it’s literally such a small complaint and isn’t that big of a deal at all.nnAll utilities included — literally, EVERY single one. The only thing you gotta do is go buy a router. And, eventually, you’ll have to buy one in the future anyways so why not now?nnMe and my boyfriend share the master bedroom and split the apartment with two other people and there is still plenty of space. It’s also pretty cheap if you’re living with 3 or 4 people.nnPet friendly — they say they only allow 35lbs max but just talk to them and they are usually willing to work around having your dog or cat.nnI also love that you have two separate balconies—one off the master bedroom and one off the living room... everything is well taken care of and I love the light fixtures they have in the apartment.nnI can’t say good enough things about this complex, the management, and the maintenance.

Mountain Valley apartments are very well kept and clean! We have no complaints! Kristy and everyone else is super nice up at the office and they make sure everyone is well taken care of! Maintenance does a great job at keeping the apartment building clean and they are quick to respond if you need anything!

Kristy is AMAZING and she is always on top of getting everything done and she is kind and very professional along with everyone else at Mountain Valley Properties! Everything is so nice and wonderful! Maintenance is always up keeping the building and is always helpful!

Mountain Valley does a great job at making sure their renters are happy. I have not had one bad experience with the management or maintenance. Truly a great place to live with affordable cost!

Kristy is an outstanding leasing manager! She is always so quick to answer questions and follow up about any maintenance issues to be sure they are resolved! MVP is awesome!
