Been playing there for about 18 yrs with a group of 20+ guys. Love the place. Cabins are nice and rustic. Course is a lot of fun to play. A good variety of difficulty, from easy to tough holes, especially from the tips on the finishing 4 holes. Staff has been very friendly and accommodating through the yrs. My only wish is that the grass height would be shorter from tees through greens. Difficult to find a lot of balls in the rough until your right up on them. But I understand it costs more $ to keep a course cut shorter and maybe their budget wont allow it. Prices are also very reasonable for cabins and course.

Excellent scenic golf course in the mountains. They also have a 9 hole par three that averages close to 200 yards a hole. Highly recommend!

I don't play golf, but if I did, I would play at Pipestem. We go here for the majestic hiking, awesome swimming, and the horses. My God, the horses. The lodge has an indoor pool that remains heated year round, and a couple excellent restaurants. Plus they have a tram system that allows a deeper look into the wonders of West Virginia. Do yourself a favor and check it out, no way you'll be disappointed.

My second year going here. Beautiful golf course and has some good challenging holes.
