Great place to catch up on Texas and US history. My dad served here in Ww2 before going to Germany. One of the last horse calvary before mechanization

Well set up museum. Walking through you see. The prison cells and the exhibits are clearly marked. The volunteers are very knowledgeable and helpful. Overall a very good time and educational as well.

My great great grandpa was in the calvary and is in their museum and his uniform is too and some pictures I went when I was little and I want to go again because I cannot find pictures of him and his uniform or with his Calvary on any ancestry site I would love it for that to happen the place is awesome I love it

This is an awesome place to stay as it is clean beautiful historic and charming! It is good to request Bullis Hall second floor - due East especially on the Fourth of July weekend or for Fort Clark Days in the spring. There is an amazing view of the golf course putting green from the veranda and it is close to the Post TheAtre as well. The rooms seemed to be scented like cedar wood - infinitely pleasant.
