Great place to eat. They always have fresh food. Great service and always get the order correct . I go out of my way just to order here even though there another store within a block of my home

Shout out to the manager at this location! I went through their drive thru and ordered the catfish but when I got home I realized they mistakenly gave me fried chicken. I went back and they not only corrected the order and let me keep the wrong order but they also threw in a few extras. So grateful for quality customer service and kind people in the food industry!

The food was fresh and hot. I ordered the 5 piece catfish and it was pretty good. Added a side of shrimp for $1.99.

Roasted chicken was goos. Spicy chicken strips were lazily sprinkles with chili powder where there were huge amounts of tenders missing powder and few had the powder clumped making it too powdery. The sauces were barely filled and they were very bland. They take a king time to give you your food where everything is already just ready to serve. The mashed potatoes and brown rice were incredibly missing taste. Will not be returning to golden chick ever again.

I've been here a couple times to give it a chance because it is a fast food place, but it is consistently bad.nnThe chicken pieces are always overcooked and dry. Calling it chicken jerky would be a compliment. The mashed potatoes are tasteless and have the consistency of glue. My dog wouldn't even eat the mashed potatoes with gravy on them and she'll eat just about anything.nnThe chicken strips, on the other hand, are usually juicy despite being bland with soggy breading.nnOverall this place is ok as long as your expectations are low. Don't expect flavor or freshness and you'll be just fine. If you like your chicken dried out and near burnt you'll love it.
