Just went in to eat lunch. I love this place. I usually sit in the bar in a booth so I can watch sports while I eat my one good meal a week. The receptionist told me I could sit at the bar but not a booth because there is only one person in there. I couldn't understand what it mattered where I sat in the bar area. There was literally 2 groups of people in there. It was empty. So, the receptionist instead of seating me in a booth in the bar area that was practically empty let me walk out and leave. I love chedders but won't be back to this one.
This was once one of my favorite places. My visit a yesterday evening will probably be my last. 45 minutes to get the appetizer, after asking where it was. When it arrived, it had just been microwaved to death. Waited an hour for my tea to be refilled. The picture is my country fried steak, which I waited for over an hour to get. It looked great, and about 2 inches think. But it had four times the amount of breading over a very thin piece of meat. I couldn't even eat it.
Five stars simply because THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS! And I love always getting a free sweet croissant with every order.nnManagement was also kind. Manager was out and about and greeted us, checking on us several times throughout our meal.
Stopped in for a quick drink late one night. You can't go wrong with the painkiller. I opted for the sampler plate that has spinach dip,salsa,queso,chips and chicken tenders. Most of it was delicious. The painkiller was quite the drink. I highly recommend everybody having at least just one
It's usually pretty good and it has friendly service. The food and trash on the ground left by people and people with kids it's hard to keep up and get it cleaned before they have to sit more people. It's bothered me before but it's not usually that bad. Last time we visited there was a table with so much trash underneath it and they sat a family down at that table. You could kinda see in their faces that they weren't pleased about it.
