Came from Dallas to Odessa. The dry cleaners from Odessa have nothing on dry cleaners of Dallas period! Hard to find good quality work these days!
This is one of the most reasonable priced cleaners I have ever been to. Everyone there is so nice and respectful. They even remembered my name after going in for the first time. They even do same day service for no extra charge! If you want your clothes laundered, dry-cleaned, altered, you name it... Go here. You definitely won't regret it.
My 75 year-old-sister dropped off two suede jackets while visiting her son in Odessa. She is from Dallas and knew that suede jackets usually cost about $35-40 to clean. So much to her surprise, she was elated when the young counter girl told her that it would cost $6.95 for each jacket. My sister asked her if she was sure and the girl assured her that it was $6.95 per jacket. When she went to get the jackets a week later, the owner wanted $100 for the cleaning. He argued that that NO ONE would ever clean a jacket for $6.95. My sister told him that the girl assured her it was $6.95 per jacket. Needless to say, the owner did NOT honor the $6.95 and told my sister that she had to pay $100.00 if she wanted them back. My sister barely makes it each month on her social security and cannot pay $100.00. The owner told her that he would sell them if she didn't get them in 30 days. He refuses to return phone calls and apparently wants to keep the jackets for himself. He is definitely taking advantage of the elderly. Of course, the girl denied everything, afraid of being fired, OR was in cahoots with the owner, who knows? This is NOT right. How do people get away with such scams?
