Highly recommend this place for an affordable hair salon! I went in mid July and they were doing a great job of wearing masks and taking temperature. Even though it's a beauty school, I wouldn't say they took a significantly longer time than expected given I have thick, long, dark hair that I was getting a balayage on. They were able to match the picture I had in mind exactly and even added olaplex to protect my dark hair from the bleach. Super nice and friendly staff, you could tell they all got along together as well!

I went there today and everyone was so nice. My hair is amazing they took care of my hair made me feel comfortable. I will be coming back love them all!!!!! Thank you!!!

I cannot begin to say how much i loved the service! They were equally excited about my look as i was . Great service . N i love love love the new look. Showed them a picture and they delivered it to the T . Compliments have been showering ever since !!! Thanks gurls ! Keep the good work going!

Majorelle Beauty Academy made me feel like a million bucks once again. They always do a great job on my hair. I get so many compliments and when I say I went to this beauty school they can't believe it! I always walk out of the salon feeling fantastic. The girls are wonderful. I just went this Saturday and they follow safe guidelines. Your temperature is taken immediately when you enter and they have you write down some information and wash your hands. Everyone wears a mask! Some even wear a face shield and a mask. I felt safe and that they cared. This is a hidden gem!

I decided to schedule an appointment for a root touch up Saturday since I was returning to Providence on Monday & wasn't sure when the school there would be offering services back to the public again. I was initially quoted 25$ on the phone, but told 45$ in person. She stated she thought I was bringing my own color when I never mentioned it. I told her I would only need the color touch up & that anything else such as blow drying, flat ironing , I'll do myself. Despite the error on her part for misunderstanding what I said, she didn't honor the price given to me over the phone. I ended up paying the 45$. I noticed one customer was greeted & ask questions upon her arrival, but I wasn't. I even had to shampoo my hair again because the color wasn't thoroughly washed out. I initially was excited & comfortable about my decision to visit Majorelle based on the great reviews. There should be an adjustment made to my debit card due to the poor customer service & inconvenience I encountered. Unfortunately, this was not a five star experience for me.
