Okay, this place is amazing in the hidden diamond in the rough way.nnGreat food, great service. Original made from scratch flavor, not out of a bucket from a chain.nnYou want an extensive menu? Stop it. You take what the food of the day is that they worked their butt off on. Shut up and like it.nnJust go. And then keep going back.

This is one of baytown best hidden gems. It truly is a must if you like a homemade fresh daily meals. This restaurant definitely offers a variety of traditional style Cajun comfort foods and more. Also the environment is improving with recent and ongoing upgrades to the restaurant. I almost can't wait to see what is next. Keep up the great food and work. Also it is kept in pristine cleanliness which allows a grand amount of comfort while enjoying one of their many dishes.

We are from Lake Charles, LA and everything from the Boudin plate to the gumbo was down-home authentic Cajun bliss. I had the pork roast with greens and candied yams and it beats any restaurant. The flavors feel like I’m in the kitchen of a true Cajun home. The cook came out and was so kind. Will be back!!!!

I have never eaten sausage and chicken Gumbo that had so much green and red bell peppers.. so many that I just started pushing them aside. The flavor was good. But for $10.50 I expect more than a few pieces of chicken and 3 pieces of sausage.nI wanted to try the boudin,,, owner kept saying that it's ready. It just needed to be cased, we left before getting any.
